A curation project<\/h2>\n

Ovoid studio is the name I have given my curating practice. It’s based in my studio in Ovingdean on the outskirts of Brighton. This project is an extension of my making practice and I expect it to evolve over time. The first outing was a mixed show entitled Hinterland<\/em><\/a> based in my garden and the shed in May 2024 as part of the Artists Open House<\/a> festival that takes place every year in Brighton. That experience gave me a real taste for curation and the collaborative relationships it fosters with other artists. Putting the work of several artists together and discovering what ideas and visions connect them is a great challenge and a pleasure at the same time.<\/p>\n

As an artists-run project the policy and strategy of this ‘institution’ is very flexible, so here’s what I am currently thinking:<\/p>\n
