Observe from the sofa, stay in touch

You might have expected to hear about my show in May 2020 by now but it has had to be postponed then rescheduled in a limited version like so many other public events. The organisers of The Artists Open House Festival in Brighton have now decided with their artists and venues that a modified version could take place in November/December this winter. This is not really viable for The Garage space as it would simply be too cold. As the coronavirus crisis rolls on it looks increasingly unlikely that events involving groups of people in confined spaces will be safe anytime soon. If and when it becomes clear what the possibilities for a physical show in an actual venue are I will send out invitations/bulletins so please be sure to sign up to my email list if you haven’t already

Chosen by an algorithm

The title of this show has been chosen by an algorithm. I used the What3words geolocation app. It divides the entire globe into 3 metre squares each with a unique 3 word address. I have taken the title from the 3 metre square that sits on the doorway of The Garage on Sudeley Street in Brighton where I hope I will be exhibiting my latest ceramic artwork at the weekends in Oct 2020.

I am preparing a lot of work in the meantime which you may have seen featured in my Instagram feed which is where I post most of my work in progress stills and videos.
