This post is to let everyone know that Ovoid Studio will not be opening it’s gate for the Artists Open House festival this year.
I was originally hoping to establish it for a three year run and then move on but that has not been possible for complex personal reasons.
So Ovoid Studio has become an entity separate from the physical building. Ovoid studio now represents an approach to curation. If you need a curator or a curation concept I can provide that service and I now have the experience of last years Hinterland show to demonstrate what I can do with a space and a schedule.
Since the New Year I have been working on developing the online presence for my own artwork which you can follow over on @sfellartworks. To get the full story and benefits (like discounts) you have to sign up to the new Glimmerists mailing list on my website.
I hope Ovoid Studio will be an ongoing project in some other locations and other contexts. For now I can only apologise if you were looking forward to a return spring visit.
