There is a set of six of these Falling Figures altogether all based on various stages of collapse (or release), some of which quote works by other artists and other media.

Above: Falling Figure 02 – after Madmen, an unglazed terracotta figure about 12cm in length encrusted with embossed forms.

Above: Falling Figure 01 – Operatic, an unglazed terracotta figure about 10cm in length covered in a texture created by pressing small pieces of clay onto the body with a shaped tool e.g. the end of a ball point pen lid or a screw head.
